ABOUT

Hi! My name is Monique Babin, and I am a learning and development leader with a passion for creating innovative, engaging, and effective training solutions. I am an Oregon native, and I live and work in the Portland metropolitan area.

 

With extensive experience in technical instructional design, learning strategy, and program management, I specialize in designing and delivering impactful learning experiences that drive organizational growth and employee success.

Throughout my career, I have worked across industries—including higher education, aerospace and defense, and SaaS—working on and with global teams to develop leadership and technical training programs. I've developed and led training solutions, from large initiatives to more focused projects, encompassing a variety of stages of discovery and development, from needs analysis and curriculum design, to development and implementation of training deliverables. Modalities I've designed and developed include instructor-led and virtual instructor-led, elearning, microlearning, game-based learning, and blended learning solutions. I am also deeply committed to mentoring and coaching, helping individuals and teams grow their skills and advance in their careers.

Beyond designing training, I contribute to the learning and development field through thought leadership and speaking engagements. I enjoy exploring emerging trends like AI-driven content development and gamification, always seeking new ways to enhance learning experiences and performance outcomes.
